A preparatory meeting was called by the district administration today to oversee the preparation for the coming 3 tier GP elections. All BDOs, Tahsildars and IsIC of police stations attended the meeting, wherein Collector Rayagada appraised them of the overall planning. SP Rayagada briefed about the deployment of the forces and overall security situation.
Inputs were taken from the BDOs, Tahsildars and IsIC about the field level issues. The concept of Coordination nodes was explained to them, which will act as communication centres for relaying to and fro information and management of logistics and special measures in case of any eventuality.
