ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR NEWLY RECRUITED JR. CLERKS

In the recent recruitment of Jr. Clerks, 40 candidates were selected after a free, fair and transperant process. District adminisatration has decided to organise sunday orientation programmes for such clerks, with the objective of building their capacities in discharging their services, since at present there is no such system and the newly recruited clerks have to learn their work only on job. Collector Rayagada inaugarated this orientation programme today and some senior ministerial staff conducted training programmes on how to organise and write files for different different depts. Collector Rayagada explained the role and responsibilties of clerks in the changing times , where people expect Sensitive, Mobile, Accountable, Responsive and Transperant governance system. Many succesful candidates expressed their happiness for being selected on merit basis, in a tranperant process. Most of these candidates belong to poor families, infact some of them from a very poor background and their sucees has not only strenthened their faith in the governance system, but also that of the society at large.
