DISTRICT ELECTRIFICATION MEETING HELD IN RAYAGADA

District electrification meeting was held in Rayagada on 27.07.11, in which teh progress of Biju Gram Jyoti Yojana and rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana was reviwed in detail. Along with Collector and other district level officials, including BDOs, the meeting was attended by Hon'ble MP Jayaram Pangi, ZP president Jagannath Saraka and other public representatives. the performance in BGJY has been poor as compared to RGGVY. There were number of issues such as fores clearance for the project, taking up the left over villages and inclusion of Hamlets of the revenue village in the electrification program that were discussed at length.
