Rayagada District Adminisration is closely monitoring the Bansadhara & Nagavali river water levels round the clock. Rayagada Collectorate, Emergency Section is collecting information about rainfall from Blocks and river water levels from Central Water Commission stations along the two main rivers, Vanshdhara and Nagavali . Necessary instructions given to all BDO's & Tahsildars about preparedness for any eventuality. Sub collectors have been instructed to prepare a contingency evacuation plan . However water levels are below warning levels and all measures are in place to infuse confidence among people. Civil supplies and Health Dept. are on high alert to face any situation.
